Calgary Double Garage

Sometimes simple is best. A good Calgary garage needs to be a few things if you want it to last. One, it has to stand up to the hail. This garage was clad with James Hardie board, a concrete fibre product that resists impacts and can't be punctured or dented even by large hailstones. We chose a similarly durable roof for the garage. A good garage also has to be big enough for what you need. At 484 square feet, this has space for two vehicles and still leaves room for storage. We added a window into the yard for additional light and matched the finishes to the home so that it felt like it had always been there. Drywall on the zero-lot-line ensured that the structure was safe and compliant with the City of Calgary's code for accessory buildings. We built this with extra high ceilings that measured 9'9" giving plenty of interior space to hang things.
